Private Tours & Transfers in Athens
We used George’s Taxi for transfers to and from the airport and a tour to the Temple of Poseidon. Steve was fantastic! He told us so much about Athens and Greece and made sure our experience to Cape Sunio was great. He took us to a wonderful seafood restaurant and helped us pick our fresh fish. And on the way to the airport he told us he looked at the weather on Crete and gave us so many suggestions for our visit there. Highly recommend!
We took 2 day trip tours with Stavros; Marathon/Cape Sounio and Delphi. Both trips will be unforgettable because of Stavros! He was so kind, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing Greek history and culture. An incredibly safe driver who made the journeys so stress free. Each trip Stavros recommended a restaurant to eat at and they were honestly the best food, from fresh fish with a multigenerational family taverna to a mountain side taverna with giant beans and handmade pasta each meal will be one remembered forever. Highly recommend George's Taxi and if you can get Stavros it will be a trip and conversations you will remember forever!
We did three day tours on consecutive days, from Athens to Delphi, Cape Sounio (at sunset), and the Peloponesse. Our driver was Stavros, and the service was impeccable. Stavros is deeply knowledgable on topics ranging from food to mythology and everything in between. He was warm, kind, generous, on time, and a great companion to our family for three days. He brought us to wonderful restaurants each day and advised us on what and how to order. On our trip to Cape Sounio, he took us to a seaside fish place that has been run by the same family for eighty years, where we were served delicious Sea Bream right off the boat. He also recommended his favorite places to eat, drink, and shop in Athens, which made our stay wonderful even when he wasn't around. We can't thank him enough for making our time in Athens more special than we could ever have hoped.
What can I say!? We used George's Taxi 6 times on this last trip to Athens and 5 of those were taken by Steve, our new friend. George's Taxi is dependable and prompt each time and they even came back to the port to pick us at the last minute because our cruise was canceled. I feel that we can always depend on Nicholas, Pavlos, and the whole team for our transportation needs. Right on the first night (midnight) picking us from the airport, Steve gave us a lot of information about the city and provided excellent suggestions as of what to do and where to go. He also took us on a tour to Corinth, which we totally enjoyed. We will definitely use George's Taxi (now changing to their new brand George’s Premium Tours) if we ever visit Athens in the future again. For some reasons I couldn't load any photos of their wonderful service.
We booked George’s Taxi for an overnight trip to Meteora and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Pickup was punctual and completely hassle-free. Although we weren’t able to see as much as originally planned due to detours caused by the farmers’ strike, this was outside of the company’s control and did not detract from the overall experience. Pricing was clear and transparent—the cost covered the driver only, with hotel and meals paid separately. Our driver, Stavros, was friendly, knowledgeable, and great company, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with him over the two days. We felt well taken care of throughout the trip and would highly recommend George’s Taxi to anyone visiting the area.
We booked a Nemea Wine Tour through George's Taxi and had a wonderful experience. Our driver Gianni took us to three wineries where we enjoyed tastings and snacks, the drive was pleasant and the driver very knowledgeable about wine, history and everything else. Well worth the very reasonable price for a memorable day
