Day 1 – Nemea Wine Region, Nafpaktos & Galaxidi
Your private driver will meet you at your Athens accommodation and begin your journey westward, leaving the city behind as you head into the scenic landscapes of the Peloponnese.
Your first stop will be at the impressive Corinth Canal, where you’ll have the opportunity to take photos and admire this remarkable engineering feat connecting the Aegean with the Ionian Sea.
Continue towards the renowned Nemea wine region, one of Greece’s most important viticultural areas. Here, you may visit a local winery and enjoy an optional wine tasting experience, discovering the rich flavors of the indigenous Agiorgitiko grape.
Crossing the iconic Rio–Antirio Bridge, one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the world, you’ll make your way to the charming coastal town of Nafpaktos. Enjoy time for a relaxed lunch and a stroll through its picturesque harbor, overlooked by a well-preserved Venetian castle.
In the afternoon, a short stop in the seaside village of Galaxidi offers a chance for a peaceful walk and coffee by the water, before continuing your journey into the mountains.
Arrival in Delphi is scheduled for the early evening, where you will settle in for your overnight stay.
Day 2 – Delphi, Arachova & Monastery of Hosios Loukas
Start your day early with a visit to the legendary Archaeological Site of Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world. Explore the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theatre, and the stadium, followed by a visit to the Delphi Museum, home to some of Greece’s most important artifacts.
Afterwards, continue to the nearby mountain village of Arachova, a lively and elegant destination known for its traditional architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Enjoy a short walk through its charming streets.
Your journey continues to the remarkable Monastery of Hosios Loukas, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the finest examples of Middle Byzantine architecture in Greece.
For lunch, you may stop in the town of Livadeia, where the scenic area of Krya Springs offers a beautiful setting by flowing waters and shaded paths — an ideal place to relax and enjoy a traditional meal.
On your return to Athens, optional stops can be made at sites of historical interest such as Chaeronea or Plataea, depending on your interests.
