Itinerary

Day 1 – Corinth, Mycenae, Nafplio & Epidaurus

Your private driver will meet you at your Athens accommodation and begin your journey toward the Peloponnese.

Enjoy a short stop at the Corinth Canal for photos and views over this impressive engineering landmark. Continue to Ancient Corinth to explore the archaeological site and museum.

Next, visit Mycenae, one of the most important centers of ancient Greece. Explore highlights such as the Lion Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon, and the Cyclopean Walls, along with the on-site museum.

Afterward, enjoy lunch in Nafplio or the nearby seaside village of Tolo. Continue to Epidaurus to visit the sanctuary of Asclepius and its renowned ancient theatre.

Return to Nafplio in the afternoon for free time in the old town.

Day 2 – Mystras, Sparta & Monemvasia

Depart Nafplio in the morning and head toward Mystras, the remarkable Byzantine castle town. Explore its fortified complex, churches, and hillside ruins (approx. 3 hours).

After lunch, continue to Sparta for a brief stop at the monument of King Leonidas, followed by a visit to the Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil.

Continue to the unique castle town of Monemvasia, where you will stay overnight within the historic stone walls.

Day 3 – Monemvasia, Gytheio & Olympia

After breakfast, take time to explore Monemvasia, wandering through its stone-paved alleys and historic buildings.

Continue to the seaside town of Gytheio for a short walk or coffee by the harbor.

An optional stop can be arranged at a local honey farm to learn about traditional beekeeping and taste regional products (subject to season and availability).

After lunch in a local village, continue your journey to Ancient Olympia for your overnight stay.

Day 4 – Olympia, Nafpaktos & Delphi

In the morning, visit the archaeological site and museum of Ancient Olympia (approx. 2.5 hours), the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Depart for Delphi, crossing into Central Greece via the impressive Rio–Antirrio Bridge.

Along the way, stop in the seaside town of Nafpaktos for lunch and a short stroll.

Arrive in Delphi in the early evening for your overnight stay.

Day 5 – Delphi to Meteora

Begin your day with a visit to the archaeological site and museum of Delphi, including the Temple of Apollo and surrounding sanctuary.

Continue north toward Meteora, with a relaxed lunch stop along the way.

Arrive in the afternoon and check in to your hotel. If you wish, enjoy a scenic stop at a panoramic viewpoint for sunset views of the monasteries.

Overnight: Kalambaka or Kastraki


Day 6 – Meteora & Return to Athens

After breakfast, visit 2–3 of the famous Meteora monasteries, depending on your pace and preferences.

Enjoy lunch in Kalambaka before beginning your return journey to Athens.

An optional stop can be made at Thermopylae, the historic battlefield of King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans.

Arrival back in Athens is expected in the early evening.
