Itinerary
Pick-up from your Athens accommodation (early morning)
Your private driver will meet you early to begin your journey north through Central Greece.
Drive to Meteora (approx. 3.5 hours)
Enjoy a comfortable drive with short stops along the way for refreshments and scenic views.
Meteora Monasteries (visit 2–3 monasteries)
Upon arrival, explore the world-famous monasteries of Meteora, built dramatically atop towering rock formations.
Depending on your pace and preferences, you will visit two or three monasteries, each offering breathtaking views and a glimpse into centuries of monastic life.
Note: appropriate attire is required (shoulders and knees covered).
Lunch in Kalambaka (approx. 1 hour)
Enjoy a relaxed meal at a traditional Greek taverna in the town of Kalambaka, located beneath the Meteora cliffs.
Thermopylae (short stop)
On your return journey, stop at the historic battlefield of Thermopylae to pay tribute to King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans.
Return to Athens
Arrive back in Athens in the early evening, with drop-off at your accommodation.
