Itinerary

Your private driver will meet you at your Athens accommodation (or airport) to begin a seamless, fully curated exploration of the city’s most iconic treasures.

• Begin with a visit to the legendary Acropolis, where you’ll walk through the pages of ancient history. Highlights include the Parthenon, Erechtheion, Temple of Athena Nike, and views of the Theatre of Dionysus and Odeon of Herodes Atticus. This immersive visit typically lasts around 1 hour and 45 minutes.

• Brief but meaningful stops at the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Panathenaic Stadium (short stop)—the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble and host of the first modern Olympic Games.

• Witness the ceremonial Changing of the Guards in front of the Presidential Mansion to avoid crowds—a unique cultural moment lasting approximately 15 minutes.

• Enjoy a scenic drive through the city, passing the Athenian Trilogy—the University, National Library, and Academy of Athens—before ascending to Lycabettus Hill for sweeping panoramic views of the city and the Aegean Sea.

• Visit the Ancient Agora, once the heart of Athenian civic life. Explore highlights such as the Stoa of Attalos and the Temple of Hephaestus during a 75-minute walk.

• Pause for a leisurely lunch (approximately 1 hour) at a carefully selected local restaurant. Your driver will provide tailored recommendations based on your preferences.

• Conclude your day with a visit to the Acropolis Museum (around 90 minutes).

• At the end of your tour, your driver will return you comfortably to your Athens accommodation, the airport or Piraeus port.

Good to Know

√ Afternoon Option Available — Start at 12:00 PM and enjoy a less crowded experience throughout the tour. The Acropolis is visited last (around 6:00 PM), when ticket availability is guaranteed and most large group tours have already departed.

√ Museum Flexibility — If you’re staying near the Acropolis Museum or have already visited it, we can substitute with the National Archaeological Museum (12 euro ticket)
